I started to train with Austin with the goals of getting stronger, improve my weight
lifting form, changing my diet to be lean and to do pull-ups again. He has helped me
in many ways when it came to my training and recovery, taking me through
mobility exercises to help with my post-muscle strain injury, putting me on a calorie
deficit diet and counting my macros.
Whenever I feel doubtful about whether what I’m consuming is beneficial for my
diet, I can turn to him for advice without feeling pressured. He is also helpful and
gave me tips on how to track my macros. Also, he is very encouraging whenever I
feel a little stressed out about my diet, reminding me that I can do it.
If there are any tips or advice given on the internet that I’m unsure of, I’m able to
discuss it with him as well to get a better opinion. During training, he pushes me to
the next rep but is also observant enough to spot me approaching my limit. Luckily
he doesn’t commando yell at me to push.
I’ve been training with him for more than 4 months and I’ve seen a significant
improvement in my weightlifting form, my strength and my weight. I’m more
conscious of my food and my confidence has increased. My muscle definition is
more obvious and I managed to achieve my goal of doing pull-ups within 4 months.
There used to be a slight curve in my spine that was not obvious but I can feel it. It
has since straightened after training with Austin.
